No One in Our Community Faces Cancer Alone

When someone is diagnosed with cancer, life can change in an instant. It can be overwhelming for patients and their families, as their world suddenly revolves around one central thought: “How will we get through this?” In these moments, every patient deserves peace of mind of knowing that expert, compassionate care is available close to home. At Marshall Cancer Center, a UC Davis Health Affiliate, patients don’t have to face the added burden of traveling long distances—they can focus on what truly matters: their treatment and time spent with loved ones, right here in our community.

This is the heart of El Dorado County—the place we’re all proud to call home. A place where we stand together, especially when it matters most.
The Marshall Foundation for Community Health is committed to ensuring that no one in our community faces cancer alone, but we can’t do it without you.

As the fundraising arm of Marshall, we raise the crucial funds that help our neighbors access life-saving cancer care, including programs that provide:
• Over $15,000 in hotel costs for patients needing specialized care outside the county.
• 78 No-cost gas cards for patients with limited income to ease travel expenses.
• 53 No-cost mammograms for early detection and prevention.
• 44 No-cost wigs to help restore a sense of confidence and normalcy.
• No-cost transportation to and from appointments.

These services are a lifeline for so many in our community, especially for those facing financial or mobility challenges. They offer hope, dignity, and a sense of stability during ones of life’s most difficult journeys.

Today, I invite you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of your neighbors by contributing to these essential services. Your generosity ensures that no one in El Dorado County faces cancer alone and helps uphold the spirit of compassion and resilience that define our community.

A gift of any size can make a difference in someone’s life. Donate Today
