On November 2, Marshall Medical Center, in partnership with the Marshall Foundation for Community Health, hosted a free public event, Understanding Dementia Care. The event, attended by more than 100 individuals, was a continuation of Marshall’s age-friendly awareness and featured author and national speaker, Laura Wayman. Laura, a dementia care expert, provided attendees with practical tips to help them navigate common challenges when caring for someone with any dementia or memory loss.
